Day treatment or partial hospitalization programs (PHPs). Of the 48 facilities, 4 facilities provide this level of care, which requires individuals to attend therapy and counseling sessions at the facility for 20 or more hours each week.
Intensive outpatient programs (IOPs). There are 22 facilities in Rhode Island offering IOPs, which provide between 9 and 19 hours of treatment at the facility each week.
Regular outpatient treatment. All of the 48 facilities providing outpatient care offer regular outpatient programs, which provide less than 9 hours of treatment at the facility each week.
There are 3 AdCare Rhode Island facilities providing various outpatient services—including detox, intensive outpatient (day and evening sessions), and regular outpatient care—depending on the facility.
